Be here for the rockingest weekend of the year!
Where you ask? In the city of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, the world
renowned Cleveland Art Museum and the home of the Cuyahoga and Cleveland
chapters of the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio.
We invite you to join us on November 4-6 in independence Ohio where we will
celebrate the 76 annual state of Ohio convention,
Millennium: Honoring The Past, Treasuring The Present, Shaping The Future.
The location is the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, 6200 Quarry Ln.,
independence Ohio 44131. Our Affiliate President is Richard Payne and the
Convention Co-Chairs are Maggie Stringer and Suzanne Turner. They are here
to serve you!
You can make reservations now by calling 216-447-1300. The room rates are
only $104, which includes breakfast. By the way, there is an omelet bar in
the restaurant where we all will gather for fellowship each morning prior
to great presentations during the General Sessions and inspiring Breakout
Seminars. The good news is that when you make your reservations, funds are
not deducted from your credit card until you arrive at the hotel. Therefore,
pick up the telephone and make your room reservation now!
We are excited to report that preregistration is up and running.
Pre-registering for the Ohio convention by October 28, 2022, makes attendees
eligible for door prizes. Door prizes will be drawn during Convention
festivities, general sessions, and the banquet. Registration is required,

We also invite you to come into Ohio's Exhibit Hall that will be open to
attendees on. November 5th from Noon to 4:00 PM. Showcasing rows and rows of
technology and accessible gadgets. As well this convention will offer four
Educational Boutiques, which will include Technology Workshop Demonstrations
and discussions about Windows 10 operating system, Google Apps, Apple
products, popular iPhone Apps and more. In addition, there will be a "STEM
With You Boutique: displaying 3d models featured by Caroline Karbowski who
is a recipient of the 2022 Dr. Jacob Bolotin Award along with the Ohio
Association of Blind Students Division.
So, come on to Ohio where there will be entertaining presentations and
seminars for you, such as "The Blind Girl Magic Poetic Experience", founded
by Jeanetta Price, top recipient of the 2022 Dr. Jacob Bolotin Award, that
was presented at the 2022 National Convention in New Orleans. Yes, she will
be here!
All are welcome to attend this spectacular event of 2022 in Ohio! It doesn't
matter where you live, if it is next door in Michigan, or across the country
in California! We are family!
