Good Afternoon Cleveland Members,

 

I am so enjoying the weather. It is beautiful outside. Please enjoy it while
it last.

 

The picnic is behind us and was a huge success. I hope everyone had a great
time and got enough to eat.

 

Thank you for all you do! Natassha, Shirley, Bernice, Danielle, Mr. Bluford,
Recee and kids helped tremendously at the picnic.

On this Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:30, I will meet with Paratransit
Manager, Mr. Gibson to discuss the new app for purchasing bus tickets. Also,
we will discuss other matters. Therefore, if you would like to join me,
please reach out to me for the call in number.

 

Also on Friday, witch is the same day at 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we will hold
our monthly Chapter meeting on Zoom. The info is below how to join the
meeting.

 

Please remember to go on the Ohio website at NFBOhio.ORG and register for
the State of Ohio Convention. You can also call and make reservations at the
hotel at 216-447-1300. If you have any problems, please let me know.

 

Finally, we will discuss the auction at the convention, as well as a project
for the White Cane Safety day and Blind Equality Achievement Month, that is
in October.

 

As a reminder, the Ohio Board meeting will be held at the hotel where the
convention will be on September 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Please plan to be
there.

 

I will see you at 5:00 PM at the meeting this Friday.
