Good Sunday Afternoon Members,

 

I want to tell you that I am so happy that it is becoming warm again!
Because, we live in the Midwest, sunshine is crucial for our skin, bones and
mental state. So, enjoy!

 

On this coming Saturday, May 21, 2022, we will hold our annual Chapter
meeting at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MLK Library. The address is 1926 Stokes
Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio 44106.  Someone will be present to greet you. There is
an elevator for your convenience as well. Thank  you to Natassha Ricks for
securing the location.

 

I am not sure about you. But, I am so elated to see you all in person again.
We will do our best to have the chairs at a safe distance if anyone is
nervous. Please continue to where your mask in the library.

 

There are so many members that I have not had an opportunity to communicate
with, due to work, circumstances and more. However, I want to urge you to
come out and renew your commitment to the federation. We all will be doing
this on Saturday as well. We also have several new members that many have
not met. So, mingling is also encouraged.

 

I am imploring you to get to the library at 12:45 PM and be set to depart at
2:45 PM. Please schedule your rides on Wednesday with Paratransit. I will
send out the April minutes and the May agenda on this coming Thursday.

 

Members just a few reminders:

1: Bring your money that you have along with the Father's Day Benefit
Drawing tickets.

2: Please continue to sale the tickets. The deadline to turn in all tickets
and money is on June 10th during the Chapter meeting.

3: Please continue to get two prizes for the Golf Silent Auction.

4: Please continue to spread the word about the Inclusive Golf Event that
will be held on June 18th. The event costs $80.00. For more information,
please contact Delcenia at 440-804-4644.

5: If you have not paid your dues for 2022, please bring them to our
treasurer, Natassha Ricks.

6: The last date to pre-register for the National Convention is May 31,
2022. Pre-registration is $25 and the Banquet is $70.

7: Bring ideas for the celebration of the ADA. 

8: We will be selling split the pot tickets. Have funds to support the
treasury,

9: Invite a friend or those who want to know more about the federation.

10: If you want to purchase a ticket to win an all expense paid trip to the
2023 National Convention, the tickets are 20 dollars. You can go to

You maybe a winner. You do not have to be present to win. If you need

If anyone wants to get lunch after the meeting, let me know and we can
announce where and when. But, you would need to notify me no later than
Tuesday.
