reach out to their respective representatives to get them to co-sponsor the
Accessible Prescription Bill. I will be reaching out to members early next

the Hearing at the Ohio State House for the Parental Rights Bill was a
success. We are close to getting it out of the Senate. There were 22 members
that went down.
C: Just a reminder of the Ohio State Board Meeting on April 30, 2022 at

D: As you are aware, The National Convention is drawing near.
Pre-Registration closes on May 31, 2022. If you have not made your

you should receive an email prior to May 15 if you have been awarded the
scholarship. I know, most of you have received funds from the Ohio

pre-register. You can also select your banquet ticket as well.
E: The Piggest Raffel Ever Drawing closes on May 1, 2022, So, if you want to
purchase a ticket, I can assist with the online portal. Tickets are $5 each.
You can win the first prize, which is $5 thousand for yourself and $5
thousand for the Ohio Affiliate. If you win the second prize, you can win
$25 hundred for your self and $25 hundred for the Ohio Affiliate. The third
prize is a $15 hundred dollars vacation in Cincinnati.

Cleveland Fundraisers:
Delcenia Brown, Fundraising Chair, provided an update of the Inclusive
Golfing Event. The flyer and sponsor letters have been distributed. All
members are asked to continue spreading the word and obtain two door prizes
to help with the silent auction, which is an added segment. Flyers have also
been distributed on Facebook, Listserves, shopping center boards and more.
She explained that donation of items are coming in slowly. Also she has gone
out several times, Door-to-door asking for sponsors and items. Everything is
coming along, she said.
Wilbert Turner , Board Member, provided information on the upcoming Father's
Day Benefit Drawing. All members are asked to sell ten tickets to help with
members attending the National and State Conventions and helping with new
blind people in the community with services. The drawing is on June 18,
2022, the same date as the Golfing Event. Tickets are ten dollars and names
are put into a barrel. There will be three winners. Half of the proceeds are
allocated to the Cleveland Chapter and the other half will be used for
