Good Morning, Cleveland,
Congratulations!
Once again, you have stepped up and raised the bar on advocacy in Cleveland,
at the state and national levels, and within your personal brand.
Cleveland is a recipient of the 2024 Gavel Award.
I must tell you that I was shocked. Dayton and Greater Akron have grown
their membership, and their work in the community has been impactful.
Therefore, one important trait of leadership is to help others achieve their
fullest potential. So, Cleveland must do that for our neighboring Chapters.
We must assist, encourage and offer support when and often as we can to
them. We also will appreciate their successes when they are at the
forefront.
I hope you are taking a break and reflecting on the convention. This was a
great experience for us. The highlight for me was the marching band. It
brought back memories of playing in the band during my school days.
>From Chacity's speech on the National Convention, to Renee and Gloria's
presentation on BeMyEyes and the Smart Glasses, to Cleveland helping,
serving and networking, I thank you all!
Just a friendly reminder that our Christmas party is on December 14th at the
same hotel from 6/10 PM. Everyone should call me this weekend to place their
food preference. I have to provide the information to the hotel. The menu is
below!
Finally, I was ill and hospitalized for two days. I am fine. However, it is
taking more time than I imagined getting back to my full self. However, I am
almost there.
In addition, William is currently in the hospital. Please continue to pray
for a speedy recovery for him.
The 2025 Cleveland Chapter Committees are as follows. I will be reaching out
