Dear Cleveland,
I have been working on items for the luncheon tomorrow. Therefore, I
apologize that I have not emailed the address of the meeting.
We will meet on tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 2:30 to 4:30.
The location is 17109 Lakeshore Blvd.
I have spoken to most of you, and I have received items that you are
providing for the luncheon. If I have not spoken to you directly or by text
or email, please let me know if you are coming and what you are bringing.
Also, remember, this meeting is open for anyone to attend; do your best to
increase the items if you can.
For those who attend on zoom. I apologize, there are two additional chapter
meetings who have reserved the room. If you would like to join the Greater
Akron at 11:00 AM or the Miami Valley at 1:00 PM, I am sure they would be
honored to have you.
We will meet in October on zoom and in person. Remember that this is also an
election month. If you would like to run for a seat, "President, Vice
president, Secretary, Treasurer, Board Seat 1, Board Seat 2" please contact
William Turner, who is the nominating chair at 330-328-9860. Anyone can be
nominated from the floor. However, you must speak to that individual first
prior to submitting their name for a position.
October is also Blind Equality Achievement Month and White Cane Safety Day.
Therefore, Cleveland will have an outing to promote awareness. Stay tuned.
I will see most of you on tomorrow!
Have a great weekend for those who are unable to attend.
