Dear, Cleveland/Ohio,
I am wishing each of you a very Merry Christmas and a joyful, blessed
holiday season.
As we gather with family, friends, may this season bring you rest, renewal,
and gratitude for all that we have shared together this year. Across Ohio,
we have continued to move our mission forward sharing opportunity, advocacy,
and hope with blind people of all ages, and that work matters deeply. Love,
hope, and determination remain the heart of what we do.
Through challenges and triumphs alike, our collective spirit continues to
light the way, strengthening our movement and uplifting blind individuals
throughout our state.
Thank you for your commitment, your service, and your belief in what we are
building together. I am incredibly grateful to stand alongside you, and I
look forward with excitement and purpose to serving with you in 2026 as we
continue to shape a strong and vibrant future for the blind.
May your Christmas be filled with peace, warmth, and joy, and may the new
year bring transformed energy for the work ahead.
With gratitude,
Suzanne M. Hartfield Turner
National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Vice President
Ohio Legislative Director
Cleveland Chapter, President
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
