Cleveland Members,

Please read this through to its entirety.

First, please keep Dr. Peters and Sherry Ruth in your prayers as they go
through hardships at this time.

, thank you for a productive meeting last weekend. It was awesome. We had
five visitors with one that joined. Please continue inviting members to our
empowering, and yet influential organization.

I want to thank the 12 members who have committed to attend the 2025
Columbus Seminar.

Lorain, Zenobia, Theresa, Wilbert, Danielle, Natassha, Antonio, Delcenia,
Shirley, Fletcher, Driver and myself.

We are organizing a second van to attend along side the full van. Chacity
has expressed attending. If we get at least five more members, we will be
good to go. The tentative fee for the second van is $65 and the shared hotel
room fee is $75. Please act quickly so I can alert President Payne.

Secondly, I am requesting that all members email or text me your Ohio
Representative and Ohio Senator name, phone number and district location.
Please call: 614-752-9777. Provide your zip code and inform the operator
that you are blind.

Here is the clerks info as well:

Ohio House: 6144663357

Ohio Senate: 6144664900

Thank you all.

Here is the Tentative Agenda:

Monday, April 14, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM -- Meet and Greet with influential
Speakers and Dinner

Tuesday, April 15, at 7:30AM - Legislative Breakfast

We will then travel to the Ohio Capital to meet with Ohio Representatives
and Ohio Senators.

Thank you!

Suzanne M. Hartfield Turner

National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Vice President

Ohio Legislative Director

Cleveland Chapter, President

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
