Embracing the Power of Disability Pride

Grab your friends and join us on Tuesday, July 22, for a Disability Pride Party! We'll be at 

Forest City Brewery

from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. to celebrate disability pride and the 35th anniversary of the 

Americans with Disabilities Act

(ADA) with storytelling, trivia, a drag show, and raffles! The Disability Pride Party is free to attend. Food, drinks, raffle tickets, and other items

are available for purchase.

What Can I Expect at the Disability Pride Party?

• Community Storytelling: Discover stories of members of the disability community as they share their tales of Disability Pride 

• Disability Trivia: Show off your disability-related knowledge at trivia 

• Drag Show: Enjoy a drag show 

• Fun Raffles: Enter for a chance to win exciting raffle prizes

What Does My Ticket Include?

Your free ticket includes entry into the event. Enjoy storytelling, trivia, and a drag show at no cost to you!

Will I Need to Pay for Anything?

Yes. You will need to purchase your own food and drinks.

There will also be an option to buy Disability Pride swag and raffle tickets for a chance to win exciting prizes. You can also donate to 

Linking Employment, Abilities and Potential

(LEAP).

Who Can Attend the Disability Pride Party?

Anyone 16 years or older can attend the Disability Pride Party. This is the venue's age limit, so we cannot make any exceptions.

Do I Need To Stay The Entire Night?

No. You are welcome to come and go, please!

• The Waldorf Beer Hall has an accessible entrance on Freeman Avenue and an interior ramp to the dining area 

• The outdoor patio area is hard-packed dirt and mulch 

• There is a wheelchair-accessible restroom, and the stage will be ramped 

• ASL interpretation and CART captioning will be provided 

• Braille materials and an audible visual description will be provided 

• Masking is encouraged, and masks will be provided 

• Access Ushers will be available to provide support to guests who need assistance 

• Signage will be posted to direct guests to the party and restrooms
