[NFBOH-Cleveland] Meeting with Disability Rights of Ohio

Good Morning Cleveland,

 

As most of you are aware, members have had concerns about the policies of
Paratransit for the last nine months. Therefore, on today, a few Cleveland
members will attend RTA'S Board meeting to try gaining their attention on
the matters. In addition, I have spoken to City Council as well. They
suggest that we attend the bord meetings to be heard as well.

 

I am currently documenting incidents that members encounter to file a charge
against Paratransit. So, if you are having or had issues, please send me the
date, time and issue.

 

Finally, on tomorrow at 11:00AM, we will meet with Disability Rights of Ohio
to gain guidance on what we can do to resolve negative and dangerous issues
by the hands of drivers, schedulers and dispatch. Please join the meeting in
the zoom room at 10:45AM. Even if you have not had incidents, join to learn
about this organization that can improve your life if something arises.
