Good Morning, Cleveland,
October is here and it is crunch time to prepare for the most exciting event
of the year. However, first we have some celebrating to do in October.
Please keep those in prayer who are shut in, going through hardships and
critical events.
Congratulations! The fiscal year has ended and we are having elections.
Please read through to its entirety of the following announcements.
First, thanks to Theresa McKenney and Robert Campbell for their service on
the Cleveland Board of Directors for 2024 and 2025. We are better and
stronger because of their leadership.
If you would like to run for a board seat on the Cleveland Board of
Directors, please contact William Turner and Chacity Gilliam, as they are
serving as the Election Committee. Remember, if you are not on the slate,
you still may run from the floor. You can nominate yourself or have a member
do so. Just a note, members, do not nominate someone if you have not spoken
with that person, you are nominating from the floor.

National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Vice President
Ohio Legislative Director
Cleveland Chapter, President
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
