Cleveland,
Thank you for providing over $550.00 plus for products for children at the
Nathan Hale Elementary School.
Purchased were Clorox wipes, Kleenex, paper towels and more.
Thanks goes to Renee and her sister, Tracy for shopping at three different
stores, loading the products on to a dolly, and delivering them "all the
way" into the school.
Renee has a pitcher with administrators with the products she will post on
our Facebook page.
This community outreach was a blessing and an outstanding opportunity to
give back to the community.
Great work, Cleveland!
Here is the letter that was sent to the School.

A Message to the Staff of Nathan Hale School
To the dedicated administrators and teachers at Nathan Hale School, the
Cleveland Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Ohio (NFBO) is
delighted to offer this gift of supplies to your school. We hope these items
are a helpful resource in your classrooms. Thus, we are committed to
ensuring that every child has access to the essential supplies that keep
them both healthy and safe.
Our organization's mission is to change what it means to be blind. We
believe that blindness is not a tragedy and that with the right tools and a
supportive network, blind individuals can live full and successful lives. As
blind members of this community, we are committed to being active
contributing citizens offering unique perspectives and valuable support to
humanity.
The NFB of Cleveland is here to be a resource for you. If any staff member,
student, or parent needs information about support, technology, or resources
for the blind and low-vision community, please know that we are here to
help. We are ready to answer your questions and provide guidance.
We would like to invite you to our Ohio State Convention in November that
will provide educational seminars, an Exhibit Showcase on assistive
technology and scholarship for blind students. Please go to
NFBOhio.ORG/Convention to learn more. This opportunity is open to the
community, especially educators like you.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to your students. We appreciate
the vital role you play in shaping the next generation.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Turner, President
National Federation of the Blind of Cleveland
