Cleveland, Good Morning,

I want to thank everyone who consistently attends the Cleveland Chapter meetings. You as members, exhibit dedication and commitment to the NFB mission and help to spread the philosophy in your everyday lives. Although we have moved our meetings around Cleveland, you are in attendance. I also want to thank you for trusting me as your President. Therefore, I want to extend my gratitude for you being so agile and intentional as we go into every aspect of Northeast Ohio and across the state promoting blind awareness.

Now, we have much work to do in October and November. The good news is that in December, we can relax and have a seasonal party celebrating our work throughout 2025 and look toward 2026.

I want you to keep Gloria Robinson, Ivory Patello, Dave Perry and Shawn Martin in your prayers and humble thoughts as they go through difficult times.

Blind Equality Achievement Month (BEAM)

On October 4th, the Cleveland chapter will have fun with a purpose. Everyone is invited! The details are below.

First, we are meeting at the MLK Library on October 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 5:00PM..

Secondly, During our meeting, we are having “karaoke, fellowship, and community spirit”. So, bring your voices to sing to your favorite tune while advancing the NFB’S resolve to increase our membership and spread awareness.

Finally, we will show our white canes, as we travel and celebrate White Cane Awareness Day walking down Euclid from the library to Pen Station, grab a bite and return back to the Library to go home. The walk will be from 4:00 to 5:00PM.
