Good Morning Cleveland and Friends,

Happy New Years!

Are you ready to take our Chapter higher in performance? Are you ready to
assist blind children, blind adults and blind seniors to "live the life they
want"? Are you ready to be who can make a difference in someone's life?

Well, I am. I know that you are as well! So, we will begin by taking
responsibility by upholding the NFB's mission, philosophy and pledge. Thus,
by spreading love, hope and determination across Ohio.

Please keep Shirley Patterson, Zenobia Whittacker and Wayne Fletcher in your
prayers as they recover and heal.

The January Cleveland Chapter meeting will be held at the Garfield Heights
Library, 5409 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, Ohio, from 1 until 3:30PM.

The October minutes will be emailed and on the Cleveland's Voice Box on
Thursday at 8:00PM. Please review them for a vote.

Also, if you have stubs and funds to turn in for the Valentine Love Bird
Fundraiser, please turn them in. However, all stubs and funds are to be
turned in by February 7th.

The topic of the month is "Life Mission". Do you live by a life mission.
What is a life mission and how do you create one for your purpose.

President Suzanne will be the 5-minute speaker.

Please bring your dues. They are $15 for the year.

Please let's grow our chapter with new members joining the largest
organization of the blind.

"the Blind also provides encouragement and support to families with blind
children and to people who are losing vision or have become blind later in
life, by bringing them into a network of tens of thousands of blind people
who are living full lives and who can serve as mentors and role models.
Together, with love, hope, and determination, the members of the National
Federation of the Blind transform dreams into reality."

Suzanne M. Hartfield Turner

National Federation of the Blind of Ohio, Vice President

Ohio Legislative Director

Cleveland Chapter, President

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
