Our Greater Alexandria Chapter of the National Federation Of The Blind of Virginia is hoping you are keeping warm 🧤🍵🧦  The time has arrived!  It is time for all ADVENTURE VISIONARIES to gather and envision the visions of their adventures…together!  Ha, ha!  (Did you catch the play on words!)

What to 

Expect:      Our very own SACHIN DevPAVITHRAN will share his (adventure climbing some really high                   mountain…oh yeah!  Mount Kilimanjaro!

 

                 JAHMIL GARRET BEY, President of Virginia Association of blind students, will tell us about his month-long adventure—YES!  One Month!                      —  in Honduras!  He liked the food so much, we thought he might decide to stay! 

 

                 SHANNON KALU will share her adventures navigating a huge flea market, which can be a daunting task                       for someone who is blind or low vision!  YIKES!

 

                 Our esteemed DEEPA GORAYA will share her most recent adventures and including her experience using “Travel Eyes”.  

 

                 AND...We want to hear about your exciting adventures!  Whether your dream adventure is climbing Mount                   Everest in the spring or venturing out of your neighborhood for one of those yummy chili dogs at that food                     truck on the corner of 5th and Main or changing the channel to BRAVO! to watch The Real Housewives of                     Potomac instead of CNN, for once!  Just for tonight!  Ha, ha!  Whatever your ADVENTURE, come share it                       with your friends on the Greater Alexandria Chapter Zoom Call!
