Dear Cleveland Chapter Members and Friends,

Reminder!

It's a celebration—Happy 36th Birthday to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)!

The 36th anniversary of the ADA will be celebrated on Sunday, July 26, 2026. To help raise awareness of this important milestone, I encourage all Cleveland Chapter members to join us for an outreach event at the Wade Oval Disability Pride Celebration on:

Wednesday, July 15, 2026
4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

The ADA has helped ensure equality and inclusion for people with disabilities in areas such as transportation, education, accessibility, housing, communication, employment, and much more. Let's come together to celebrate this historic legislation and show our chapter's support!

What to bring:
- Wear your chapter gear.
- Bring a lawn chair.
- Feel free to bring your own food if you prefer.
- Food trucks will also be available, so bring cash or a credit/debit card if you'd like to purchase food.

Meeting Location:
We will meet at the bench near the Cleveland Botanical Garden, where paratransit drops off passengers.

When scheduling your ride, please let paratransit know that you are going to Wade Oval so you will be dropped off at the correct location. We will walk over together and find a comfortable spot for everyone.

A few reminders:
- Please take any necessary medications before you arrive.
- Bring a bottle of water or another refreshing beverage, as it is expected to be warm.
