Who is ready for spring?

It is once again a clear and cool day from the last few days, so we are back to wearing our heavy coats again. I cannot wait until next Friday!

Cleveland, please keep members who are continuing to have medical treatment. Give them a call to let them know that you are thinking of them.

Also, if there is a member who you have not seen at our meetings, do the same and reach out!

Traveling To Dayton

Details:

On this Saturday, March 14th, the Cleveland Board of Directors, those who serve at the affiliate level and members will travel to Dayton to join the Miami Valley Chapter in celebrating President Payne’s semi-retirement and birthday. He has worked over 35 years in various capacities, and we want to honor him. Cleveland has been supported by his initiatives, and it is great to give back by celebrating his service. Although, we are returning the same day, this will be a great opportunity to share and fellowship. 

Cleveland Chapter Meeting

Details:

As most of you are aware, Cleveland has secured a home for 2026. Every third of the month, we will meet at the Buffelo Whild Wings Restaurant, located at 26200 Harvard Rd. Warrensville Heights, Ohio from noon until 3:00 P.M. EDT. Therefore, our meeting will be on March 21, 2026 from noon to 3:00 P.M. EDT. Bring a friend.

For new members who wish to join the Cleveland Chapter, our dues are $10 for the year and $5 for bereavement. This is a total of $15.

Moreover, from noon until 1:00 P.M. business will be conducted. If you wish to pay for any of the following below, this is when you will take that opportunity:

/ Securing a seat on the coach traveling to the 80th State of Ohio Convention of $30.

/ Piggy Tickets of $5 for each.

/ Membership Coin Holders for $20

/ NFB Gear and the flyer is below. Please share it.

/ Preregister for the National Convention of $25 and banquet of $85.

/ Raffel Tickets for split the pot.

The meeting will begin at 1:00 with a speaker from the Dancing Wheels, which is a dance group of those in wheelchairs and individuals with no disabilities performing together. It is quite spectacular to witness. Also, discussed is how we will leave a “Legacy Mantra” that will survive from years to come.

The March topic is: “Character”.

What does it truly mean to live with authenticity and purpose, and the importance of doing the right thing not only in public, but also behind closed doors. 

Note: There will not be a zoom option for March. So, I am hoping to see you all in-person next Saturday, March 21st!
