Retreat and Conference Center of The Blind (RBRCCB). RBRCCB is located in<br>
the scenic mountains of northern Pickens County; on route to the summit of<br>
Sassafras Mountain. This 30-acre site is the perfect setting for<br>
professional functions, recreational activities and a place for you and<br>
others to relax and catch your breath. Its natural location is enhanced by<br>
two richly flowing streams which bound the camp property, offering<br>
delightful acoustic and scenic beauty. You need to see it to believe it. <br>

Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center of the Blind (RBRCC) is a<br>
year-round facility, owned and operated by the National Federation of the<br>
Blind of South Carolina. <br>
<br>
In cooperation with local volunteers across the state, the National<br>
Federation of the Blind of SC developed Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference<br>
Center to be a leisurely getaway. Since 1979, the members of the NFB of SC<br>
have built, managed, and maintained the facilities and grounds of this<br>
awesome retreat. An eight-member Board of Directors, made up of prominent<br>
local community leaders and members of The National Federation of The Blind,<br>
work in cooperation, to make Rocky Bottom an ideal mountain retreat. <br>
<br>
Many individuals, organizations, non-profit groups, churches, scouts and<br>
others enjoy the pristine, secluded mountain setting. The NFB of SC members<br>
utilize Rocky Bottom retreat year-round to hold children's camp, two<br>
sessions of senior camp for blind senior adults 55 and over, fishing<br>
expeditions, seminars, board meetings, and retreats for local chapters.<br>
Rocky Bottom is available for rental by groups, families, friends, or just<br>
to get away alone. We'd love an opportunity to host you at our facility. <br>
<br>
Our rental prices are comparable to that of other retreats and conference<br>
centers. Along with privacy and majestic views of surrounding landscapes,<br>
this is an amazing opportunity to get a view of nature in all of its glory.<br>
With the metropolitan city of Greenville, within driving distance and<br>
private trails just steps away, there is something everyone can enjoy. Rocky<br>
Bottom is a fabulous example of the best South Carolina's natural scenery<br>
