of working-age Americans with disabilities lived in poverty, compared to one in ten persons without disabilities. These serious discrepancies continue to separate Americans with disabilities from their peers without disabilities. The importance of these statistics
to the process of developing and maintaining policies that relate to people with disabilities in the United States cannot be overstated.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
