<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Secretary Report was tabled, due to Cheryl Fields absence. The Treasury Report was given by the Treasurer, Natassha Ricks. And, President Remarks were also delivered
by President Suzanne. A: Thank you, B: Facebook report, January 13<sup>th</sup> through February 9<sup>th</sup>, 632 post reached, 244 post engagements, 23 page likes, 26 Cleveland posts and 46 new followers. The President requested that members please encourage
people to like our Facebook page and share the posts when you see them. C: keeping with the 2018 National Convention, President Riccobono coined it
</span>INCLUSIVITY, DIVERSITY, AND SOCIAL CONDUCT<span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">. So in February, Cleveland celebrated African-American leaders and January was celebrated with Louis Braille Day. Also, the Social Conduct
Policy will be emailed and put on the voice box. Richard Payne, Carolyn Peters, Ron Brown and Shawn Callaway’s bio’s will be put on the voice box for others to review. D: The State Fundraisers were discussed, Piggest Raffel Ever, Honey Baked Ham and the Preauthorized
Campaign.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">E: Reminders were announced, February 22<sup>nd</sup>: Final date to sign-up for the Ohio Braille Literacy Class, February 28<sup>th</sup>: Cleveland Food Bank Initiative,
March 2019 date to be determined for Read Across America. April 5<sup>th</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup>: BELL Training, April 7<sup>th</sup>: Ohio Executive Board Meeting, April 7<sup>th</sup> and 8<sup>th</sup>: Ohio Leadership and Columbus Training, and April
9<sup>th</sup>: Visit to the Ohio State House April and 12<sup>th</sup> to 14<sup>th</sup> Ohio Braille Literacy Class in Cleveland Ohio. July 7<sup>th</sup> to 12<sup>th</sup>: 2019 National Convention and finally, November 1<sup>st</sup> to November 3<sup>rd:

monthly conference call on Sharing solutions for Vision Loss. An, President Suzanne presented the 2019 Cleveland Committee Chairs,

Also discussed was private transportation when it pertains to service in neighboring communities; for example, ADA rules verses private transportation policies. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Cleveland Executive Board would like to present a wonderful opportunity for you to participate in the Columbus Seminar. There are 99 State Ohio Representatives and the
Affiliate is hoping to cover them all. We need Cleveland to attend. Therefore, we will go down to Columbus on April 9<sup>th</sup> and return the same day. The cost of the trip is only forty dollars per person. The deposit is ten dollars, that is due immediately
and with no refund. However, the thirty dollars will be due on March 8, 2019. Please consider helping to ensure that the blind is represented. There are two key legislative initiatives, the Parental Rights Bill and the Prescription Bill. This is not like the
Washington Seminar with a great deal of walking. We will ride on elevators to get to the Representative offices. There is a comfortable waiting room that will be available to us as well. We will discuss this at the meeting. This will give you an opportunity
to be a voice for the Ohio blind. Note! If you have other blind individuals who are not members and they wish to attend for the cause. Have them contact Cheryl Fields.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The State Affiliate has several fundraisers that I want to bring to your attention.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">1: Piggest Raffel: Tickets are five dollars each. Winners will have an opportunity to win one of three prizes. The first prize is ten thousand dollars. Your Affiliate would
win five thousand dollars and you would win the other. The second prize is a yearly lease of a car. And the final prize is a weekend in Cincinnati. Please be prepared to purchase or sale one ticket. This will be the easiest funraiser that Cleveland will take
part in. Why you ask? Well, when we sale these tickets, the Cleveland Chapter will keep two dollars for our treasury. However, we have to send the entire ticket sales into the Ohio Affilliate Treasure, Sherry Ruth; and then she will send our Treasurer, Natassha
Ricks a check. I have thirty tickets and have sole twelve. So, we have eighteen left.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

like stoves and diabetic monitors that are inaccessible for the blind. Accepting defeat when it comes to purchasing high cost technology that would ENHANCE, provide FLEXIBILITY and social productivity for students, employees and seniors. Discarding prescription
leaflets in print provided by your local pharmacies with the in ability to read instructions, dosage and other health warnings. And most importantly, stand-by while physicians, social workers and the legal system remove or inhibit blind parents from nurturing
and caring for their children. We will continue to fight for equality, opportunity and security for the blind. This is why the Washington and Columbus Seminars are crucial and valuable for you, me and those blind individuals who we will never know. Do it for
all blind children, blind teenagers, blind seniors, your blind sister and others with blindness.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Cleveland met on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Cleveland Sight Center. There were 28 in attendance, including three guest.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">William Turner opened the meeting, Ed Louden led the Pledge of Allegiance, William Turner led the NFB Pledge and President Suzanne Turner provided information on our members who are healing.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A: Pre-authorized Campaign, <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Cleveland Chapter’s first withdraw was made out of the checking account for March paying into the Preauthorize Campaign of $10.00 monthly.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">B: National Convention, <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">the President provided an update and the difference of the cost from 2018 to 2019, which is around 20 dollars. The Convention will be in Las Vegas from July 7, 2019 to July 12, 2019.

<p class="MsoNormal">C: State Convention, <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The State of Ohio Convention will be held in Columbus Ohio at the Columbus/Worthington Doubletree Hotel from November 1, 2019 to November 3, 2019. Cleveland will charter a bus.

<p class="MsoPlainText">Cheryl Fields who is the Chapter’s Recording Secretary has been out ill. Therefore, the President email and put the February 2019 minutes on the voice box for members to review. However, over half of the membership did not review them.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">The President inquired how she could assist members in taking ownership of reading the minutes. It was suggested to post them earlier. So, they will be available 2 weeks prior to the April meeting, since the Columbus Seminar is vastly
approaching. The voice box will be updated on April 12, 2019.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Therefore, the Chapter will vote on the February and March 2019 minutes in April.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Treasury Report:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Natassha Ricks, Treasurer provided the financial report for the savings and checking accounts. She also took dues from members. She reported that 10 dollars were withdrawn for the Preauthorize Campaign and 3 dollars were deducted for
the March 2019 bank statement. Also, she received the split the pot full amount. Bill who was a visitor, donated his portion back to the Chapter.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Sandy Krems, who is the Community Engagement Committee Chair, provided announcements. She gave Cheryl Fields the floor to talk about the Apple Store providing accessibility training for the following week. Individuals must schedule an
appointment for help. Sandy Krems provided the information about the Read Across America event at St. Adalbert Elementary School, the date, time and members who would attend. She also inquired if anyone wanted to participate in the Diversity Run. She will
provide more detail at the next meeting. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Gloria Conway who is the chairperson for the Senior Committee Reported information on the upcoming Senior Day details. She will contact the Cleveland City Department of Aging and Disability to gain details of having a table for us to
pass out literature. The event is on May 21, 2019. Members must register for this event. Gloria also spoke and invited members to attend the monthly conference call called Sharing Solutions for Vision loss; which will be on March 17, 2019 at 7:00 PM.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">All of the Cleveland Chapter Committee Chairs gave their 2019 reports on their long-term and short-term goals. Then the President allowed members ten minutes to join their choice of Committee to serve. The Committees are,<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Lastly, the Chapter had a building exercise. Members pared into two by two and had to come up with a song that were familiar to both and preform that song for the Chapter. It was a lot of fun and those who did not know each other, they
