My hope is to assist, serve, improve and elevate the mission of the National Federation of the Blind. Although, I am thankful for the opportunity of this appointment; I can not in no way take the place of Vice President, Sheri Albers. She has been invaluable and a great resource advocating for the blind of Ohio and our members. Sheri will definitely be missed! </p><p class="yiv1341749600MsoNormal"> </p><p class="yiv1341749600MsoNormal">Even though, I have served from the National down to the local level, this is new and I know information was missed along the way. Yet, I am still learning and will continue to do so. I do not know all of the answers, but I hope I have learned enough to be quite helpful and productive. As I have read and been told; it is the membership that drives the Executive Board.
