After contacting both Cleveland and Lakewood, the signal was updated to provide audio output to alert blind pedestrians when it is safe to cross.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt'>To celebrate White Cane Safety Day, I am proposing that we visit this intersection, cross the street together with our white canes, and demonstrate the importance and necessity of accessible pedestrian signals.
