Hello everyone.

I hope this finds you all happy and well and that you had a great holiday. I just wanted to take a moment to remind you about our annual chili supper which will be held on January 14, 2017. Tickets are $10 and available online or at the door. Some of our chapter members have tickets for sale as well. Feel free to contact me or President Rex Schuttler with questions or to purchase tickets. See below for all the important details.

> The Central Oklahoma Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind is hosting its annual Chili Supper. This fundraising event supports the programs and initiatives of the chapter, including the Elmer Wright Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship, awarded annually to a deserving blind Oklahoma college student, was created in loving memory of Elmer Wright. Mr. Wright was a founding member of the Central Oklahoma Chapter. His passion and enthusiasm were instrumental in the chapter's formation and growth. He was particularly concerned with the education of blind children and ensuring that blind students are given opportunities to succeed. He is still loved and missed by those who knew him and we are honored to maintain a scholarship in his name.
