Director, Joe Cordova, regarding  the newly hired Superintendent at the

Please help me welcome Christine Boone as the new superintendent at the
Oklahoma School for the Blind. She competed against other outstanding
candidates with impressive credentials and most recently served as interim
OSB superintendent. After careful consideration, we decided that her
personal and professional experience with blindness and background in both
education and rehabilitation teaching provide an outstanding opportunity to
build on our school's tradition of excellence.  We are glad to have
Christine on the DRS team.
