[NFBOK-Talk] Chapter Meeting, Friday February 12.

Hello all.

This is a reminder that the Central Oklahoma Chapter of NFB Oklahoma will be meeting this Friday, February 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the home of Mark and Nedra Ruth. The address is 8508 St. Michael Court, OKC, OK 73139.

We will be making final plans for our annual Chili Supper which will be held on Saturday, February 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, 1001 S. Rankin in Edmond. If you took tickets at the January meeting and have money to turn in, please bring it with you. We have more tickets available for anyone who wants to take some to sell. The Chili supper includes a chili contest. If you make a mean pot of chili and want to show off your skills and possibly win a $100 prize, please contact me to get an entry form. We will also be awarding our annual Elmer Wright Memorial Scholarship to a deserving blind student during the Chili Supper. Please plan to attend and enjoy some great chili and celebrate the accomplishments of our scholarship winner!

We have transportation available to the Friday meeting for a cost of $15 round trip. Please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your spot on the van. 

We are also collecting 2016 dues for anyone who still wishes to join or renew membership. Dues are $10 and can be paid at the meeting or Chili Supper.
