[NFBOK-Talk] January Chapter Meeting

Greetings and happy new year!

Sorry for the slightly short notice about our upcoming chapter meeting this Friday, January 10. We have had issues attempting to renew our contract to meet at our usual place. Since they won’t return our numerous calls and emails, I can only assume they don’t want our business. So, we have been looking for a new meeting location. This is the reason for the delayed meeting reminder. I would like to thank Rilee Sloan for his help and for securing a place for us to meet in January. 

Our meeting will be January 10 from 7 to 9 Pm at the IHOP located at 5201 N. Classen Blvd. We have a private meeting room reserved so hopefully it will be quiet for us. Plan to bring money for dinner while you are there if you want to eat. This is currently a temporary solution. We are working on other options that will hopefully become a permanent meeting location so stay tuned and thanks for your patience as we work to resolve things. 

A new year means it’s time to pay dues. Annual dues are $10 per person and are good for all of 2020. Please bring your dues to the meeting if you are able. 

Transportation is available as usual. Please contact Nedra at 405-261-0001 or send an email to centralok at nfbok.org to reserve a ride. Please note, if you reply to this email,  everyone on the list will see it.

Hope to see everyone at IHOP on Friday as we start planning for the exciting year ahead!
