We haven’t done a Sunday business meeting in several years. Nobody stayed for it so we moved the business meeting to Saturday afternoon.

I don’t mean to speak for Rhonda, but if I were her, I would assume she’s confused because we typically have a business meeting on Sunday morning before everybody leaves. Evidently, we are not doing that this year. That’s OK, it’s just a switch up and sometimes it’s best to check in when things switch up instead of assuming.

Rhonda,
I am not clear as to what is confusing.
I went to the NFBOK website and it lists the dates for our convention as April 23-25, 2026 on both the homepage and the page to register, which is the same as the email that I sent out.
Events will begin on Thursday, April 23, general session will be on Friday, April 24 & Saturday, April 25, and banquet will be on the evening of Saturday, April 25.
There are no events on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Leah,
I went to the nfbok.org web site.
I am confused with the dates. It is Thursday, Friday & Saturday night? Nothing on Sunday? The banquet is Saturday night?

About Us
The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day, we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination, and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
