Hi all,

I wanted to pass along the below email from David Andrews with a reminder that the NFB has set up a special Convention-related list to handle convention-related messages, requests, or other messages.

Here is some information from the official description of the list:

Are you looking for a roommate, or do you have space in a hotel room, then this is the place to let others know.
Announcements concerning streaming, the agenda, related meetings, food, transportation arrangements, and other convention-related matters
are all appropriate for this list. The list is moderated -- which means that all posts must be approved before they appear on the list.
Only NFB related fund-raising messages will be allowed on this list on a limited basis (e.g. an affiliate, national division, chapter or local division  may post one announcement regarding its offerings at the exhibit table at the national convention) or other NFB convention -- no hard sell please. Please include contact information on all message submissions.

The below email also gives two ways to sign-up for the list serve, email and website.

As you know, the high point of the NFB season is our annual Convention. This year we will be in Austin, Texas at the beginning of July.

We of course can not send out every convention-related message, request, or other message to the whole NFBNET-MEMBERS-List. It would overwhelm you and get us pegged as spammers.

this is a reminder that we have set up a special Convention-related list to handle such messages. You must actively subscribe to the list to be able to post. The list can also be used throughout the year for Affiliate convention announcements and requests.

Fill out the first form that comes up on that page, you must return it in under five minutes, and you will get a message telling you that you were successful. If you do not get such a message, try again, or use the email method.

Use of this list should allow all of us to be better prepared for convention.
