Included on the panel are J.J Meddaugh - owner of ATGuys.com and host of the Blind Bargains Podcast, George Wurtzel - master craftsman and woodworker who teaches woodworking classes and sells his creations all over the country, Laura Legendary – owner of Elegant Insights Braille Jewelry and Jean Brown, Author and former spa owner.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>Norma Crosby, President of the NFB of Texas will speak about Silver Bells, a program to help blind seniors learn the essential skills of blindness. Additionally, Duncan Larsen from the Colorado Center for the Blind will present about CCB’s programs available for blind seniors.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>The Oklahoma Library for the Blind will present about all the services available to blind Oklahomans and the new changes being implemented in the NLS talking book program.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>We will have a panel discussion featuring blind Oklahomans from a variety of backgrounds to share their experiences with diversity and intersectionality.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>We will have a representative from Ski for Light to talk about the program and explain how blind people go cross-country skiing. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>And if that’s not enough, we will be talking about Able accounts, legislative initiatives of interest to the blind, NFB Newsline and so much more.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif'>Please join us for this fantastic convention.
