1. Roll Call: 7 members and guests in attendance

2. President Rosemary Freedman called the meeting to order at 10:15 am.

Also, hear from speakers on topics of national and state importance, membership, seniors, technology, Braille, students, guide dog users, merchants, deafblind, and parents’ concerns, meet the scholarship class of 2023 and much more!

We will be live streaming portions of the convention that will be recorded for archival purposes on the website. The agenda will be available on NEWSLINE® too!

Raffle Tickets – For the State Affiliate, Rosemary has raffle tickets for sale. During the month of October if the last three number on your ticket are drawn in the evening lottery pull, you’ll win! 

$50 if your number is pulled on a weekday; 

$100 if your number is pulled Sat. or Sun. 

The procedures benefit our scholarship fund. Tickets sell for $5.00

Bowling – August 16th, everyone is invited to bowl at 11:00 am. Pay your own way.

Hiester Lanes - 801 Hiesters Ln, Reading. Using lanes 1 and 2.

Social – We will have lunch on Sept. 15th at Azteca – 955 Woodland Road, Wyomissing     610-898-1512

Paid members are free up to $25 (no alcohol).

Community awareness – Judy mentioned that there is a City International Diversity Day on Oct 1st.

She will inquire about our having a table there.
