Dear Members, Friends, and Allies,

I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. I'm reaching out
today with a follow-up regarding the Greater Berks Chapter meeting held
today.

February Meeting Update

The meeting was held as scheduled; however, we were disappointed that no
members were able to attend. We understand that schedules can be demanding
and unexpected circumstances arise. Still, participation is what makes our
chapter strong, and we truly value each of you. Your voice, ideas, and
presence matter. When members attend and engage, our chapter thrives.

January 2026 Biennial Election Results

About Our Chapter

The Greater Berks Chapter is a vibrant and inclusive group of individuals
who are blind, low vision, DeafBlind, and sighted allies. We are united by
our shared goal of building a supportive community where we can learn,
advocate, and grow together. Our chapter is more than just meetings - it is
a space where we support one another, advocate for equal opportunity and
independence, share resources and lived experiences, and strengthen our
collective voice.

As always, our motto guides us:
We care, we share, we grow, we make a difference.

Membership and 2026 Dues

Annual dues for the 2026 Greater Berks Chapter are $10 per person per
calendar year. If you joined the chapter in 2025 and have not yet paid your
2026 dues, we kindly ask that you do so at your earliest convenience to
remain in good standing and retain voting privileges. Becoming a dues-paying
member grants voting rights, allows members to make motions and hold office,
supports local advocacy and programming, and strengthens the sustainability
of our chapter.

Potential new members are welcome to attend a couple of meetings before
deciding whether they would like to officially join. There is no obligation
to pay dues immediately - we want you to feel comfortable and confident in
becoming part of our community.
