Hello parents and supporters:
The Salvation Army has an Angel Tree Program where they give Christmas
gifts to kids. I participated in this last year and Alana received 3 gifts
from them.
Please apply if you are in need or share the resource to those who might
benefit. Salvation Army is nationwide so they have this program in other
states, not just Pennsylvania.
Based on my experience from last year, once you fill out the form, you get
a confirmation email stating you completed the application. Further down in
the month, you will receive another email stating when and where to pick up
your gifts. When I went to my designated location, I had to show the email
stating I am here to pick up the gifts and provide my photo ID. I had to
wait in line with other people who signed up.
I have no affiliation with this program. I just want to share the resource!
:)

Thanks!

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
