[NFBP-Erie] Erie County Chapter will meet Saturday at 2:00

Hi Everyone!

If you are interested in the issues effecting visually impaired and blind people in the Erie County  area, please attend the meeting of the Erie County Chapter, National Federation of the Blind of Pennsylvania, Where the blind speak for the blind.

Our next meeting is Saturday, April 15,  at 2:00 PM. 
Our meetings will continue to be on the third Saturday of each month at 2:00 PM. Until members choose a different day or time.  
This month we will have a special guest, Steven Hoyt, from the Pilot Dog Guide School. Mr. Hoyt will talk about a very important program; a two-week intensive training program on use of the white cane. This is especially important to the Erie County area where there has been no professional white cane training available for about three years. So, please try to attend; I know it will be interesting. 

After our regular meeting, lets talk about any issues regarding loss of sight  where people have concerns. 

Please...Invite your visually impaired or blind friends to join our meetings, 
Let us know if you have a problem or concern related to vision loss, 
Let us know if you have an idea for an activity for the chapter, 
And, feel free to suggest appropriate speakers.
