Hello all,

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is putting together a team for
the Philadelphia Marathon, and we are looking for walkers and runners to
participate in the 10K, half marathon, or full marathon.

The race schedule is:

* 10K and Half Marathon: Saturday, November 21, 2026
* Full Marathon: Sunday, November 22, 2026

We are inviting everyone—sighted, blind, or low vision—who would like to
participate to join the NFB team.

As a thank you for your participation, the NFB will cover your registration
fee. In return, participants are asked to commit to fundraising for the NFB
at the following levels:

* 10K: $500 fundraising goal
* Half Marathon: $1,000 fundraising goal
* Full Marathon: $1,500 fundraising goal

If you are interested in becoming a walker or runner on the NFB team,
please contact Rachel Held at rheld at nfb.org
Rachel can provide additional information about registration, fundraising,
and participation.

This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, represent the National
Federation of the Blind, and help raise funds to support the work of the
organization.

Please connect with Rachel as soon as possible if you are interested.

Sincerely
Stacie

The National Federation of the Blind advances the lives of its members and
all blind people in the United States. We know that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. Our collective power, determination,
and diversity achieve the aspirations of all blind people.
