Sorry for having to step out of Saturday's meeting due to a family matter. The presidential  release was not available to play at our meeting and below is a link to the web page that I play the release from. Our next  meeting will be on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10 A.M.

Saturday, August 5th, 2023

Meeting called to order at 10:04 AM
Members in Attendance: Christine Callahan, David Miller, Emily Gindlesbuger, Linda Mackey, Brian Mackey, Chris Westbrook, Rob Farabaugh, Frank Beam, Preston Gaylor We also had Esther observing today's meeting.

Round Table

Chris took a certification for work, he will find out in September if he passed.
He is doing well with the Death Blind division, church, and getting things ready for state convention.
Preston Gaylor went to the beach and will be traveling down south to see his cousin.
He may go back to the hometown for a concert, and he is getting things ready for state convention.
Brian's golfing and working at the Double Tree has been keeping him busy.
Frank has no update to report.
Christine has nothing new to report.
Rob will be making his way back to Florida on Sunday, then will be traveling to Myrtle Beach, and also he will be making another treak to Florida in October.
He also had a great time at Beacon Lodge as well.

David attended the national convention to represent his work, he unfortantley didn't get to do much afterwords.
Emily reports her daughter played a part at her local theater for a play, she is getting things ready for her senior year.

Registeration for state convention is now open.

Early bird registeration is only $15 until September 15.
After October 15, it will be $25.
Boxed lunches will be taking place Thursday and Friday, seated lunch will be on Saturday.
Banquet tickets will be $35 per person.
State connvention again is from November 9-12 at Crown Plaza Harrisburg Hotel, and all info is accessed at:

Events to include: tech seminar, Veterans Celebration, Jigsaw meeting in person, as well as other divisions, diabities workshops, in conjunction with other meetings throught the day.
Saturday consists of General session and banquet.
Chapter breakfast will be that Sunday morning.

Silent auction and talent show will be on that Friday night.
Convention streaming will be taking place throught the connvention.

David had to step out, no old or new business to report.
Emily did report that if anyone needs any assistance getting to convention, contact Lynn Heights directly.

State rafal for the scholarship program is going on, if you win the 7PM pick 3 lottery drawing, friday in Octber, you will recieve $50, for that Saturday you will receive $100.
