NFB of PA Jigsaw chapter meeting
September 02, 2023
Members: David Miller, Frank Beam, Brian Mackey, Preston Gaylor,
Christine Callahan.
Meeting called to order at 10:08 AM
Frank is doing well., no major updates to report.
Brian is keeping busy with golfing, and work has been keeping him busy.
Christine has nothing new to report.
Preston is getting ready to register for state convention, he did have
a meeting with Emily on Friday to discuss what he can do to assist at
this year's state convention.
David did mention that his workplace, Keystone Blind Association, is
accepting applications for in person positions in the pittsburgh
region.
State President Lynn did invite Visioncorps to come to state
convention to recruit people with disabilities to work for them.
State convention will be from November 9-12, at the crown plaza hotel
in Harrisburg.
Room rates are $99 a night.

Thursday will be a technology seminar, senior possibilities fair,
celebration of veterans.
Friday will be division meetings, diabitates talks, interviewing
skills, talent show and auction.
Saturday includes general sessions, banquet.
Sunday will be board and business meetings.

Thursday and friday we will have an exhibit hall showcasing the latest
tech, employment opprotunities, and more.
Lynn also did remind us about this month's coffee with the president
this Wednesday at 7:30 over zoom.
Presidential release will be this thursday, via youtube, nfb newsline,
and other outlets.

Meeting adjourned at 10:39 AM.
Next meeting will be on October 07, at 10:00 AM.
