Hello everyone:
Here is today's meeting minutes for our jigsaw chapter.
We hope you enjoy these minutes, and you are welcome to add any
corrections or suggestions where fit.

NFB of PA jigsaw chapter meeting
January 6th, 2024
Meeting began at 10:00 AM

Members present: Preston Gaylor, Frank Beam, Christine Callahan, Chris
Westbrook, David Miller, Emily Gindlesperger, Lynn Heights, rob
Farabaugh, Timothy Mcarthy,
Round Table:
Emily let us know that the state convention for 2024 will be taking
place  November 7-10, in Erie.
our website nfbofpa.org does have info about the 4 hotels, and more
will be added over the next several months.
She did let us know about joining the parents division, and she also
gave us an update about Washington Seminar, which will be taking place
at the end of January.

The parents division is also working on a spring fundraiser, possibily
another piano bar for the spring. Stay tuned for more details.
Lynn did remind us about the upcoming national convention in orlando
will be in july, also our national scholarship application is open and
taking applications.
The Kennith Jerrican first time applications are open.
For  state convention in our erie, the room rate for the hilton and
marrate are $109 a night, and for the holiday inn and the third hotel
is $99 a night.
For this year's leadership seminar in March, we are taking different
non functioning communities and getting them involved.

Tim did introduce himself to the panel, he is heavily involved in he
community and state government.
Chris is doing well with his church stuff, and his work is going extremely well.
He also had a great holiday season and new years.
Preston is doing well, posibily may be having a temporary job lined up
for tax season, he also did have a good holiday season with family,
and lions club is keeping him extremely busy.
Christine is doing well in Delaware.
Rob was in the hospital for a bit, and is doing better from his illness.
Frank was also in the hospital for a sist on his liver, but has sense
been removed.
Old business:
Elections of chapter officers will be taking place during the January
4th meeting.
Preston has been re nominated to the 2024 chapter secretary.

Chris has been elected chapter vice president.
David miller has been elected the 2024 chapter president.
David did remind us that chapter dues are $5.00, and you can check
your web mail for instructions on how to send them to Brian.
New business:

Lynn did let us know that accessibile pharmacy did let us know that
they are holding a diabities awareness program, ifinterested, you can
email her your name and phone number.
This is a year long program, the first 16 weeks are on zoom, for the 4
weeks they are held over zoom, and later they will be having it once a
month, all meetings will be held at 6:00 PM each time.
Presidential release was played.
Next meeting will be taking place Saturday febuary 3rd, at 10:00 AM
