<div dir="ltr">Hello everyone:<div>I&#39;m about to leave for an all day country fest at one of my local volunteer fire companies.</div><div>but before I do, here&#39;s today&#39;s meeting minutes.</div><div>Enjoy reading, and if I missed anything, as always feel free to reply to this thread.</div><div>NFB of PA jigsaw August Meeting Minutes<br>August 15, 2026<br>Hello Everyone,<br>Sorry for the delay in pushing back meetings due to schedule conflicts.<br>I pinky promise we will resume normal operations the first Saturday in September.<br>Thank you as always for your corropation and understanding.<br>Now, on with the minutes.<br>Participants: Preston Gaylor, Chris Westbrook, Christine Callahan, Kenny Darby,  and Rob Farabaugh<br><br>Meeting began at 10:09 AM<br>Round Table:<br>Preston has been doing busy with his apartment, and work, no beach trips for him this summer.<br>He will be putting time off requests for convention, his up coming eye pressure check up in October in Hershey, and a volunteering event with his lions club at a local day program Penmar, we&#39;ll be having a carnival for residents and staff on 09/11.<br>Chris got appointed to the PA Governor&#39;s commission on persons with disabilities.<br>He also got accepted in to the Kenith Gerigan Leadership Program, so he&#39;ll be going to Baltimore in a month.<br>His most recent deaf-blind meeting went well, they had a new member join from Erie.<br>Kenny is excited for his birthday in August 5, he&#39;s now 64.<br>He took a trip in the beginning of August to the Dominican Repbulic.<br>Christine enjoyed national convention a lot, and got to enjoy the exhibit hall.<br>Rob has returned to Florida, is a little under the weather, but has been taking antibioitics.<br>He had a great time at Beacon Lodge this summer, Preston may return up there one of these years with the help of his lions club.<br><br>State Convention is November 5-8 in  Hershey.<br> More details can be accessed at:<br><a href="https://www.nfbofpa.org/state-convention">https://www.nfbofpa.org/state-convention</a><br>Keep up with Federation Focus for pertanent information.<br><br>Staty tuned to White Canes connect as well.<br><br>The Presidential Release was played.<br>Meeting adjourned at 10:41 AM<br>Think of more ideas for meetings.<br>Next Meeting will be September 4 at 10:00 AM via zoom.<br>Respectfully submitted,<br>Preston Gaylor<br></div></div>
