[Nfbsatx] NFB SA June Update

Welcome to your June chapter update:

The NFB SA Chapter had a very busy month of May. We started with our
second annual plate sell. We are happy to announce that it was a big
success, and we would like to thank everybody who made it all
possible.

On June 17 we will be participating in a unique event. Destination
Wonderland is a state wide conference geared towards all parents of
blind children. It is going to be an all day event and if you have not
signed up to participate and you are interested, please contact Cindy
Garcia and make sure you are on the list.

The event will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

We are working on locating a new meeting room space, and we truly
apologize for all of the confusion this has caused. Your board is hard
at work with this particular situation and we will promptly notify you
once something changes.

DBS will be having renovations done to their conference room these
next couple of months so as far as this months meeting is concerned,
we are going out! Our meeting will be held at Maria’s Café from 12:00
to 2:30 pm! On Saturday June 18. The address is as follows,
