Good Evening Chapter Members,

Welcome to your May report! The last few months have been filled of
exciting accomplishments and unexpected changes, and I want you all to
understand that your board is hard at work to make sure that
everything continues to go well, and that the changes do not impact
any of our plans.

With that in mind, I want to let you all know that we have a new place
where we are going to meet. The Greater New Mt Zion Baptist Church
located at:

1407 NW 19th Street

Right off of Culebra Rd.

Will be our new home. The dates for the meetings will be the same,
every third Saturday of every month, unless otherwise notified.

Exact location and room name will follow on the meeting announcement
that will be out later on this month.

Also, just a reminder, the Braille class will be starting this month,
May 21, at 10:30 am, right before our chapter meeting. If you know of
anyone who would be interested in participating in the class, please
make sure to let them know about this and also to fill out the form
that will be coming out later on this week.

Our Second Annual Plate sell is this coming Saturday. And we are still
in search for some items. If you have not signed up for anything yet,
and are able to donate some items please contact Vice President Denise
at:

210-897-6434

If not please sell, sell and sell tickets! We would love to have all
of our chapter members out there supporting this event! So please come
out and help your chapter fundraise and everybody wear your shirt!

Things will be getting started at 9:00 AM. And it will be ending at
around 4 pm. The location of the plate sell is,

Rodriguez County Park
6098 Jerome Rd, San Antonio, TX 78227

Near the intersection of Jerome Rd and Gena Rd, right off of Old HighWay 90!

Plates are 5 dollars, and consist of Chicken/beef fagita tacos plus
rice and beans!

Plates will be available for pick up after 12:00 pm at the park
kitchen located at pavilion one!

Finally, remember that our meeting is on May 21 at 1:00 pm, at The
Greater New Mt Zion Baptist Church. I hope to see you all at our new
location!

Thank you for all your continued hard work! It is because of every
single one of you that we can continue to do so much! Take care
everyone!

A. Z.
