If you want us to finish the year on an up note don't let this happen again! 
There are other members, including a former state president who are very 
outraged about this and feel the same way we do.

    One thing you could do is in the agenda specifically mention the playing 
of the presidential release. The line could read something like:

"Presidential release. A message from the President of the National 
Federation of the Blind."

    People will know to expect to hear a message from dr. Maurer and others 
and will come to regard it as a regular agenda item and will look forward to 
hearing it at each meeting. All the best.
