66th Annual State Convention
Friday, November 10, 2017 to Sunday, November 12, 2017
Location: Houston, Texas
Venue: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport
Our annual convention will have something for everyone who is blind, has low vision, or who knows someone who is losing vision. We welcome participation from parents, professionals who work with blind children and adults, and others who have an interest in helping blind people live the lives they want.

 

Pre-registration

Pre-registration for the 2017 convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas is now open. You may register online. Or, we can mail a printed pre-registration form to you upon request. To request a printed form, please call 281-968-7733 during regular business hours. We will also be able to assist people with online pre-registration upon request. Just call the office and ask us to help. 

We are offering three fee options this year. When you use our online form, you will have an option to pay "All Conference Fees". This option allows you to purchase both registration and a banquet ticket together. This option will cost $60.00 per person. You will also have the option of paying individual fees for registration ($25.00) or banqet tickets ($35.00 each). 

Pre-registration will be available through November 5, 2017. After that, it will be necessary to register onsite, and prices will be higher. The "All Conference Fees" option will cost $70.00 onsite. The registration fee will be $30.00 onsite, and a banquet ticket will cost $40.00 onsite. So, save some money by pre-registering early.

The hotel is now accepting reservations, and you can make them online between now and October 26, 2017. Keep in mind that we have a limited block of rooms, and once those are gone the hotel may or may not honor our rate. If you don't have the technical skills to make an online reservation, there are two options for you. Our office can assist you if you are willing to share the necessary information with us. Or, you may call the hotel to reserve a room. If you choose this method, please be sure to tell them that you are with a group and give them our group code. It is NFB.
