Subject: [NFBT] Washington Seminar In-Person Component Canceled

Hello NFBTX Team,

I wanted to send a quick note to let you know that our national
organization has just notified our affiliate that the in-person component
of Washington Seminar has been canceled. That means all our meetings will
be virtual. Our affiliate had already made this decision in an effort to
keep our members as safe as possible.

This decision was made by President Riccobono for the same reason and
because Congress is also defaulting to virtual meetings as well. Our team
is working to secure virtual meetings with as many of our Representatives
and Senators as possible, and I will be working with all of you to keep you
up-to-date about meetings.

Later this month, I will hold a meeting with everyone who wants to
participate in meetings with Congress to assign you to teams and to answer
questions you may have. In the meantime, please go over the fact sheets for
the seminar so you are as familiar with the issues as possible. Your team
leaders may call on you to help explain issues if you feel comfortable
doing so.

it if we could have someone from every district, but if that isn't
