Hi Wendy,

Can you please share this on the NFB E-mail list?

The Disability Access Advisory Committee (DAAC) was established by the
City Council to work closely with the Disability Access Office as part
of San Antonio's efforts to provide accessible services and facilities
for residents with disabilities. The Advisory Committee consists of
individuals with disabilities, providers of services to people with
disabilities and interested San Antonio residents.

Each Council Member and the Mayor appoint a committee member to DAAC.
A committee member then serves a two-year term and may be reappointed
for two additional terms. DAAC members are NOT required to reside in
the district they represent.

There are currently 5 vacant positions on the Disability Access
Advisory Committee; these districts include 1,3,5, 6 and 10. If you
are interested in becoming a member of this Advisory Committee please
follow the link below and apply today. Contact the Disability Access
Office at 210-207-7135 or
DisabilityAccess at SanAntonio.gov<mailto:DisabilityAccess at SanAntonio.gov>
if you have questions or need assistance in applying.
