[NFBSATX] Schedule of events and request for participation

The following is a list of events happening in San Antonio the chapter is
participating in along with information about the state NFB convention in
November. We do need some members to help represent the chapter and answer
questions attendees might have about our organization at our table at the
AccessAbility Fest and White Cane Day. If only for 15 minutes, any help is
appreciated so one person does not have to do it for hours without a break.
If you do not know the answer to a question you can take the persons contact
information and somebody will send them information later. If you would like
to help send an email to wwalker at nfbtx.org to let me know you want to
volunteer.

You do not have to donate to attend meeting
If you do want to donate you must make your own appointment and your
donation time can be before, during or after the meeting.

TEXAS NFB State Convention
November 8 to 10
Crown Plaza Dallas Downtown
1015 Elm Street
$129 per night plus fees (price includes two breakfast per room each day)
registration open to November 1
cost for pre-registration is $25 and $45 for banquet
includes welcome dinner on Friday night in registration fee
registration and banquet tickets cost more after November 1.
