Here is an announcement posted below my signature that might pertain to some
of you so please read carefully.
Best regards,
Wendy Walker
Exact Care Pharmacy is a mail-order pharmacy that ships all over the
country, including to Texas. A number of blind people who use their service
have requested accessible labeling for their prescriptions, and they have
refused to provide that for their blind customers. The Federation is taking
legal action on behalf of blind and low vision users of this service, and we
are looking for the following:
1. Current users of Exact Care Pharmacy who are blind or have low vision
and who would be interested in accessible labeling for their prescriptions.
2. Former users of the pharmacy who are blind or have low vision.
3. Blind or low vision people who would be interested in using Exact Care
Pharmacy if it provided accessible labeling.
If you fit into one of these categories, feel free to send an email to
ncrosby at nfbtx.org that includes your contact information if you are
interested in helping with this matter.
Best regards,
Norma Crosby, President
National Federation of the Blind of Texas
