At our April meeting, no one wanted to step forward and run for the president, but after I paid my current and delinquent dues, I stepped up to the plate and put my name in nomination. Our district governor was our guest speaker, so he was there and observed it all. It will mean that I will have to attend some quarterly cabinet meetings, but I am looking forward to meeting some more Lions outside our club. It is going to be a busy year, but with God’s help, anything is possible. After my term is up, I will become immediate past president, so I will still be on the board for another two years. Think about what I have said when the elections come around next January!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Before I forget, I will be installed at a ceremony at Region 20 on June 13, so you all will be there in spirit if not in physical body.
