Save the Date for Big Day of Play: Presented by Seattle Parks and Recreation, Big Day of Play will be held on August 18 at Rainier Playfields and Community Center. This fun, signature event celebrates our city’s vibrant diversity and community with a day full of healthy activities, games, cultural events, world music, and food. Extension Recommended for Camp Second Chance Permit: The Human Services Department (HSD) recommends extending the permit for the Myers Way (also known as Camp Second Chance) permitted village to remain at 9701 Myers Way South for an additional 12 months, until March 2019.
