UPDATE
Right after I sent this message I received notice that the Senate Labor and Commerce Committee has scheduled its Executive Session for Wednesday afternoon at 5:45 PM. We still need to make sure they vote to send SB 5753 to the full Senate. Contact your Senator and tell them you want the Labor and Commerce Committee to vote “yes” on the bill. Below is a link to the members of that committee. If your Senator is on this committee it is especially important that you reach them before 5:45 PM Wednesday, February 20.

Thanks,
Marci

The Senate Labor and Commerce Committee held a hearing Monday on SB 5753. Now we need to make sure they hold their Executive Session to vote on it. That must happen by this Friday or the Senate bill dies.

You can email or call your Senator directly or call them through the Legislative Hotline at 1-800-562-6000 (TTY: 1-800-833-6388). You can also contact Senator Keiser directly at Karen.Keiser at leg.wa.gov. If you send an email please cc me.
