measures to support physical distancing in an effort to keep riders and
employees safe while providing essential services.

Transit is operating during the COVID-19 emergency with no payment of fare
required.

Watch for updates, as conditions may change.

Stay home, stay healthy
Metro encourages those who can to stay home, recognizing that using transit
continues to be a necessity for some.

Recent data shows a continued decline in transit ridership as more people
limit themselves to "essential travel", such as to grocery stores,
pharmacies, and worksites that serve the community.

Having fewer riders on buses and other transit vehicles during this time
helps support the health of other passengers who require transit to get to
and from essential jobs, such as health care and related work, as well as
transit front-line essential staff - bus drivers and supervisors who provide
these services.

If you must go, please know
Please do not travel if you are sick.

Board and exit transit vehicles at the back door if you can. Those who need
to use the front door are welcome to do so.

While riding, practice physical distancing.

Safety straps have been installed to provide separation on buses and other
transit vehicles. Informational signs and decals are also posted.

Cover coughs and sneezes and observe other safety guidelines.
